You Have Writing to Do

“My love,” God said to her as she pulled her chair up to my desk, “we’re going to focus on your wellness today.”

She nodded in understanding as if God’s words were speaking more clearly and definitively to her heart.

“Who do you want to become?” God asked as a blank journal and pen appeared, sliding across the desk until they stopped in front of her.

“Who do you want to become?” God asked again, his voice echoing in the air around us.

She looked at me, waiting for an answer. I shook my head and smiled lovingly, “I can’t tell you.”

“Who should I become?” she asked.

“I don’t want to tell you what to do or think. I can tell you what I want,” I paused, “and maybe that will stir something inside of you.”

“Ok,” she nodded.

“I want freedom. Financial freedom, spiritual freedom, physical freedom. Freedom for all. Peace, love, harmony, abundance. I want joy, passion. I’m not sure I know exactly what that looks like, but I feel like I’m getting closer. I want to work for myself, but I don’t want it to feel like work. I want it to light me up from the inside out.” I laughed. “No pun intended. Just last night, I asked for it to be fun.”

She chuckled, “Ok, I see,” she said, picking up the journal and holding it in her lap with the pen in her hand.

At that moment, an angel appeared behind her, draped in a long, flowing garment that glowed a bright golden light like the color of the sun. It was like a cloak or a long coat.

“This is a gift,” the angel said. “We would like you to wear it temporarily. It will help bring you wisdom and clarity. God would like you to write. You may find the answers within your thinking.”

The angel stood still behind her holding the cloak.

“Would you like the gift?” I asked, “You must choose it to receive it.”

She nodded, stood up, and allowed the angel to drape it over her shoulders. Once on, she modeled it, turning left and right as if I was her mirror.

“It is beautiful,” I said, and with those words, the cloak absorbed into her energy.

She exhaled a loud breath. “What’s next?” she asked.

“You have writing to do,” I answered softly.

“Ok,” she whispered.

A cup appeared on her side of the desk, a white teacup resting on a matching saucer.

I explained, “God has sent a gift. This is healing. To receive this gift, imagine picking up the cup and drinking. You can visualize yourself drinking or you can bring the cup close to you and breathe in the energy. Either way will work. Any time you would like to receive from the cup, return to this story and repeat these steps.”
