What Does Your Heart Want?

She stood with her arms wide open in the middle of the heavens, God next to her, his hand held up in front of her chest. His hand was glowing a bright golden white, as if he was using the energy to listen to her heart.

“What does your heart want?” God whispered softly to her.

Gentle tears fell from her eyes like the softest summer rain.

“My love,” his voice was comforting, understanding, and empathetic, yet at the same time, it held her accountable for her actions, or inactions, for her decisions. It was a deep love that loved her where she was but a love that knew she could rise higher. A love that knew she was capable of greatness, that knows her potential. A love that knows her heart, her fears, her struggles. A love that knows her love. A love that understands her broken spirit.

“I call on you to heal,” God whispered so quietly in her ear that only she could hear.

He quietly, secretively handed her a sphere of golden light to heal one piece. She took it, accepted it, and healed one piece. The outline of her spirit turned into a thousand-piece puzzle. God illuminated the single piece that had been healed, yet 999 unanswered questions remained.

God walked to me, reached out his hands and asked me to pray. Holding both of God’s hands, we closed our eyes and bowed our heads.

“I call upon the heavens to unite with me now.”

Angels, spirit guides, healers, heavenly spirits, distant ancestors, the divine feminine and more descended from the higher heavens, forming circles around circles of heavenly support.

God turned to face them all and thank them for joining us. He invited her energy, her spirit, her higher self, to step forward as the guest of honor in the center of the gathering. God, her higher self, and I held hands, forming the first inner ring of the circle.

Slowly, everyone began to sway, left and right, left and right. Energy was building with each sway. A small white sphere ignited in her heart, growing larger and larger as more and more spirits joined together, amplifying the energy. The sphere expanded until it  encompassed all who had gathered.

“My love,” God spoke directly to her soul, “do you desire to rise?"

With her eyes closed, she took a deep breath, then nodded.

“My love,” God spoke again, “we are going to clear many timelines. We are going to lift you to a higher love. You have missed nothing. This is a new beginning. This is a rebirth into a higher level. Rise higher, my love, rise higher."

Fears surfaced from the depths of her soul, fears from past lives, intrinsic karma, past timelines. They floated up and out of her like dandelion seeds, reaching the edges of the white sphere before dissolving into the light.

“Again,” God said, watching as more and more was cleared from her energy.

This time, beliefs surfaced, “I’m not good enough,” “I’m not worthy,” “I’m not loveable,” “I’m not loved,” “I’m weak,” “I’m lost,” and several others.

Small strips of paper, each carrying one of the statements, rose up, floating into the sphere of light before vanishing.

“My love,” God spoke again. His voice revealed fractures on her soul, like cracks in a delicate vase. He lifted a pitcher above her head and poured bright molten golden light to flow over and within her, filling the fractures and healing her soul.

A paper-thin red heart popped out of a box, springing upward like a piece of toast from a toaster. God caught it between his fingertips.

“May I offer your heart an upgrade?” he asked, holding the new heart by the point between his thumb and index finger.

She nodded.

“Very well,” God replied. He stepped closer, holding the heart at the same distance as his outstretched hand before. The heart leaped from his fingers into her chest, absorbing into her energy.

The electricity and energy within the sphere of light began moving counterclockwise, swirling horizontally around the outer circle. With each pass, a ball of light formed, growing larger and larger until it matched the size of the sphere itself.

“Love, I call on you to rise,” God said.

The sphere rose, floating higher and higher, level after level, ascending to the higher heavens.

Ding! A bell rang, like an elevator reaching a higher floor. A door opened in the side of the sphere, and she stepped out onto a new level. Her energy felt renewed. She stepped forward with curiosity and hope.

God waited for her to take her first few steps.

“My love,” he greeted her, “because I call upon you to heal does not mean I do not call upon you to live. I call on you to love, that means to love yourself too. What does loving yourself look like? How would you like to love yourself?”

He looked deep into her eyes and his words penetrated her heart. Standing in his presence, she felt so much more than what he had said. She felt as though he were giving her permission to define love, to define living, to define joy, to define her future.

“My love, you need not need me to tell you what to do next. Let me help you amplify your wishes, your desires, your dreams. Let me put wind in your sails. Where do you choose to go?"
